What is an alliance in Xterium?
An organized group of 10 to 200+ players with team chat, common goals, diplomatic relations with other alliances and joint wars. Not just "friends" — a full organization.
What does an alliance give?
Protection from raids (loners are easy prey), access to major wars, joint ops to destroy enemy fleets, intra-alliance trade, veteran help for newcomers, diplomatic relations with other alliances.
When to join an alliance?
Preferably day 2-3. Before that, get familiar with the basics (planets, mines, fleet). Then apply to mid-tier alliances — they accept newcomers more readily and train them.
What is an alliance war?
A declared conflict between two or more alliances. Lasts from days to weeks. Goal — destroy enemy fleets, capture key systems, demoralize. Winner gets influence and trophies.
What if my alliance loses?
It's part of the game. Defeat is not the end but a lesson. Most great alliances went through major defeats and grew stronger. Diplomacy, regroup, new strategy.
Can I play solo?
You can, but it's hard. Without an alliance you're easy prey for raiders. For most players, alliance is a mandatory step. If solo — Classic universe suits better (alliances are less active there).
